Job Description:
As an iOS Developer at City Eats, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining our mobile applications for the iOS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an iOS Developer with a strong portfolio of published apps in the App Store.
- Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration.
- Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
